But the hours I wasn't working? Oh I had fun!
First there was the party at Rachels on Saturday night which consisted of me drinking this lemonade kinda stuff which wasn't that strong.
I was wrong. Cup after cup after cup. Boy was I wrong. I need that recipe. I think it was 99 parts Vodka and something else.
I tried to recover for work the next day, and by the time I DID recover, it was time to go out for dinner to a Japanese restaurant - and drink some more. We met up with some really great friends of ours Matt and Deana and just ate, drank, laughed and then laughed some more. Two things we figured out right away. When you are drunk, you seem to want to order fried wheat, and you couldn't catch a piece of chicken thrown at you by the chef if your life depended on it. Deana had chicken in her eye, hair AND nose! Attractive! :)
- In Fiji, kava allows participants to communicate with the supernatural.
- Kava was used throughout Oceania to calm nerves, cause relaxation and sleep, fight fatigue. It was drank to unclog urinary tracts, to lose weight, relieve asthma and rheumatism. Drinking kava is thought to be good for headaches, cramps, and to cure syphilis and gonorrhea.* Many islanders believe kava to restore strength, to soothe stomach pains and to cure such ailments as boils.
- The effects of drinking kava, in order of sensation, are slight tongue and lip numbing caused by the contraction of the blood vessels in these areas (the lips and skin surrounding may appear unusually pale); mildly talkative and euphoric behavior; calming, sense of well-being, clear thinking; and relaxed muscles. Sleep is restful and there are no after-effects the next day.
What are you gonna be doing?
* I have neither.
