Whilst trawling other blogs the other night, I came across a really really thoughtful good idea for a post. It has been borrowed from Certifiable Princess who, in turn borrowed it from FARK. Basically, the idea is this: If you could go back in time and tell your 12 year old self ONE thing and one thing only, what would that one thing be? HOWEVER........ You cannot give the 12 year old you stock tips, lottery numbers, hints to purchase anything like Yahoo or Google etc. Nothing that will make them rich. Instead, the advice would be something for them either to avoid, or to go for, to change or remove from their life so there would be no regrets. So......... What would my advice be? To the 12 year old me? I thought and thought about it.
Dear 12 year old Andi,
Be more outgoing. Don't worry about what people think of you. Be an individual, not someone who follows a pack of people who really don't care about you. Take more opportunities. Don't wait until you are 30 for things to start happening. Make the most of what you have. When you leave school, travel the world for a year or so. There is ALOT to see out there.
Then go on and have the kids and move to America. It's all good!
