Yawn..... could I NEED more sleep?

OK folks, help me out here. Since I got back from the UK I have done nothing but sleep. I don't mean naps every now and then through the day either. (I've never been a napper) I mean, when 7 pm strolls around, I am out like a light. I go into a deep couldn't-wake-me-up-if-a-bomb-came-through-the-roof kind of sleep.

See this?

05-06 CAR CRASH - blue edging

I would sleep right through it!

I kid you not! At first I thought it might be some kind of jet-lag, though this hasn't happened previous trips. But I've been back over a week now, and every night, EVERY night, I am almost comatose at 7 pm and I sleep right through till 7 am (often waking up still tired!)

So come on folks, what could be wrong with me? I'll accept answers honest, funny or odd....... (and no, I'm not pregnant should any of you be thinking along THAT route!) :) I just need to get a grasp of what is going on!!!!!

Well, I feel your pain, only I manage to stay awake a bit longer than that, 10pm is my cut off. Like you, I've been wondering what is wrong with me! Hubby and I could online game till 2am, but anymore, forget it!!

Honestly, I think it's the weather. Cold, dreary.... I miss the sun, I miss warmer weather..... sigh..... stupid rodent has wished another 6 weeks of this lovely weather upon us too.

Mate, you HAVE to break the cycle. You MUST force yourself to stay awake in the evening. Your body is too used to sleeping at 7pm and so starts to feel sleepy. If you get up at 7pm and just walk around outside for 5 mins to wake yourself for the next half hour (for the next couple of nights) that shoud do the trick after a little while. I know this because I get into the habit of an arvie snooze and after 3 or 4 days of doing it by 3pm I can drop off to sleep involuntarily! Try it, see how you go!

Since you left I have done nothing but sleep either. Maybe its something to do with me working my first full week since November and you're coming out in sympathy...
