Can someone please tell me why, when you call the 1-800 number on the back of your health insurance card, the very first thing you hear is the recording that says:
"If you are calling with a medical emergency, and death may be imminent, please hang up and call 911"
Is anyone really that stupid that should they have suffered the loss of a limb for example, and blood is spurting*, they would seriously rather wait on 'hold' for 23 minutes and 57 seconds?
Really?
People, that light at the end of the tunnel? Its a train! Call 911 FFS.
