So I checked out my reviews (Blog Explosion) and have had 5 so far! One commented that my blog design isn't very original, what with the greens etc., I'm all for opinions, so I'm not going to bitch about what one person thinks! One mans truffle is another mans poop as you know.....
However, when I see blogs like "The Web Divas" come across BE and BC, I can't help but notice that for all the "designing" they offer, they can't even be bothered to update their own advertisement! We are now into February, and their blog STILL says :
The Divas will be off Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years Eve and New Years.
Please contact your designer to see if there are any additional days that she might be taking off
Thankyou and Happy Holidays!
So I think I'll just stick with my own blog, one I'm happy with! I think it's easy to read, not too flashy, and you certainly aren't about to have an epileptic seizure while reading it!
Hopefully, the majority of you out there agree! :)

I know you don't care for bears *sniff* but please rescind your comment on stefs blog (http://stefanioblogpot.blogspot.com)
He's using that as evidence the teddy dies *sob*
I've had that damn peice of fluff for over 10 years (moved through 25 houses with me... dont ask...)At least let him see 18 - I can ritually sacrifice him myself then...

I like your color scheme just fine. Who cares anyway? It's the content that matters, not the fluff. Anybody that spends all their time decorating their blog probably doesn't have much to put into it.

This is a different Jay, let me assure you.
And of course, I am guilty of the regular old layout myself. And I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Blogs are supposed to be about the words. And people tend to go overboard with all the bells and whistles anyway.
p.s. I noticed the same thing about the Web Divas. Not the best way to advertise.

Hey - I don't buy fish and chips to read last week's newspaper - I buy it for what's inside. Sod 'em!

I thnink you blog design is lovely....but then I might be biased since mine is based on the exact same template. Good taste is universal :)

I think you should leave it just the way it is! If you like it, that's all that matters!
I like it too!

Hey at least 5 people took the time to review you! I've only got one. :(
(I like your blog. Of all the standard templates, it's probably the easiest to read)

I like it the way it is. I'm all for suggestions but some people are assholes on purposes. Like the first person that rated mine (I'm sure you saw that post ;)) said my blog was a good business resource and I had too many memes. WTF?!
Don't change a thing, darlin'!

Am I the only one who's noticed that you can always spot a site made by the "Web Divas" all look alike?
There's also someone who I believe is one of their group who has a FOULMOUTHED blog in which she is always making comments about people they host. Not too professional at all.....

There's nothing wrong with using the standard templates as far as I'm concerned... (one way of putting, I'm as guilty as you are...)

Let me add my voice to the chorus of voices that say it really does nto matter...because it doesn't. Nice graphics WILL make someone stop to look but a pretty page will nat make most people return. Only content will do that.
And you have great posts. Thanks for pausing at my blog so that I could discover yours.
